Castles, chateaux, ruins
Some of the most interesting are: the castle in Chęciny (pictured, 55 km), Krzyżtopór Castle in Ujazd (25 km), the Royal Castle in Sandomierz (60 km), the Palace in Kurozwêki (seat of the Radziwiłł family, 23 km).
Distance: 10 km. A reservoir with numerous tourist and recreational attractions. You can go kayaking, boating, learn to windsurf.

is a ruin full of magic and mystery, lost among the fields and hills of the Opatów land, far from main roads and trails. It is a monument of international class.
Distance: 55 km. The most famous cave in Poland located near Chęciny (still visit the castle). Remember to book your entry well in advance - the cave is a nature reserve - it has a limit on daily entries.
Świetokrzyski National Park
And there are numerous hiking trails and the famous Lysá hora. In addition to it: St. Anne's Mountain, Holy Cross (25 km).
Dinosaur Park in Baltow
Distance: 54 km. More than 100 life-size dinosaur models on a nature trail. You can stop by the Jurassic Museum and have fun in the amusement park.
Distance: 40 km. The provincial capital offers many attractions for visitors, but MUST SEE are: Bishop's Palace (pictured), Karczówka Monastery, and Kadzielnia Hill (in the large photo below).
Distance: 25 km. The town has many historic buildings: the Romanesque St. Martin's Collegiate Church, the Baroque Bernardine Monastery and the undergrounds are worth seeing. Opatów is also an excellent stop on the way to Sandomierz!
